 
BluWood features a factory-applied coating of the two-part Perfect Barrier System. First, the Infusion-Film forms a water-repellent barrier providing powerful protection against moisture absorption and mold and fungus growth on the surface of the cured film. Second, the Perfect Barrier DOT Wood Preservative, an EPA-registered fungicide and insecticide, protects against wood rot decay and wood-ingesting insects, including Formosan termites.
The BluWood coating is applied on all six sides of the component, creating a powerful cocoon of protection. In addition, all BluWood products contain virtually no harmful chemicals for families or the environments and are back by a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
